STOP THE BLEED PLUS

The American College of Surgeons (ACS), in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Defense and others, helped bring lifesaving bleeding-control principles to the civilian community through the Stop the Bleed initiative. The ACS Stop the Bleed program draws on lessons learned from Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), an approach developed to reduce preventable deaths on the battlefield.

Introducing Stop the Bleed PLUS: an enhanced approach to lifesaving training that goes beyond the fundamentals of traditional Stop the Bleed courses.

Designed to build confidence and practical capability, Stop the Bleed PLUS places greater emphasis on hands-on training, skill repetition, and realistic scenarios. Participants will explore relevant TCCC principles, the mindset behind effective emergency response, and the practical application of lifesaving interventions, developing the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively when every second counts.
